Synthetic Steel Wool2 is the synthetic alternative to traditional steel wool pads for use with today's water based strippers and finishers. Steel Wool2 contains special abrasives bonded throughout a non woven pad. This unique combination of synthetic fibers and abrasive particles make Steel Wool2 the perfect combination of steel wool and sandpaper.

Steel Wool2 pads will not rust, tear or shred and can be rinsed and reused. The distinctive open web construction resists clogging and provides steel wool like flexibility for those curved, ornate and hard to reach surfaces.

Steel Wool2 pads can be used to apply varnishes and stains and are compatible with both solvent based and water based products.

STEEL WOOL2 #0000 (Buffing, Finishing & Polishing) - The high-tech alternative product for Grade #0000 steel wool. This "White" pad can be used with all water-based finishes for buffing, nib and bubble removal, polishing and paint removal. Provides a satin smooth finish to furniture and very delicate surfaces, and can be used to clean glass, chrome and porcelain as well.

Steel Wool2 #00 - an alternative for Grade #00 steel (Between Coats Preparation) wool. This "Maroon" pad protects metal from rusting when used with light oil; removes varnish/lacquer finishes; and is used for wood defuzzing. Use before applying a second coat of paint or varnish. For fine scratch removal and an excellent product for cleaning grills and ovens.

Steel Wool2 #2 (Paint & Varnish Removal) - Today's alternative for Grade #2 steel wool. This "Blue" pad is suggested for removing light rust from all metal surfaces, cleaning garden tools, scuff marks on linoleum floors, and removing old paint and varnish with a chemical stripper. Compatible with water and solvent-based finishes.

Steel Wool2 #3 (Heavy Duty Stripping) - The Synthetic alternative for Grade #3 coarse steel wool. This "Black" pad is Suggested for removing old paint and varnish with a chemical solvent; the removal of heavy rust from metal, and removing old floor wax. Rinse after using for a restored condition.
